Shelbyville's 1937 murder of Kentucky's 34th Lieutenant Governor Brig. General Henry Denhardt will come alive once again. Denhardt was gunned down near the Armstrong Hotel on the night of September 20,1937. Background-Ky's Lieutenant Governor and Brig. Gen. Henry Denhardt's was murdered by Oldham County brothers Doc, Roy and Jack Garr who allegedly murdered Denhardt for revenge of murdering their sister business owner and Denhardt's love interest Verna Garr Taylor.
