African-American Heritage Trail
The African-American Heritage Trail provides the community with a walking tour of sites that are significant to the African- Americans in the Community. This tour is brought to you by the Society and by the Shelbyville Historic District Commission.
Simpsonville Skirmish in 1865
This tour is about the Simpsonville Skirmish in 1865, whereas African American troops were ambushed and killed. The historical site is located outside of Simpsonville with tombsites and a roadside marker about the event.
